Is it hard to switch from spreadsheets or another app?
No. A guided import brings in your staff, students, batches, fee plans and dues from spreadsheet files, and a setup checklist takes your team through the first week. If you'd rather not do it alone, book a free demo and we'll help.
What if the internet is slow at my centre?
Teachers can keep marking attendance when the signal drops. It is saved on the phone and sent as soon as the connection is back.
Do parents and students pay for the app?
No. Parent and student access is included with your plan. Parent accounts are supported up to 2× your student limit on paid plans (1× on the Solo plan).
Do you take a percentage of the fees we collect?
No. You pay one flat monthly or yearly price for your plan. Acadiom never takes a share of your fees. Online payments go straight into your own Razorpay account; only Razorpay's standard charges apply.
Can parents pay fees online?
Yes. Once you connect your centre's Razorpay account, parents and students pay by UPI, card or net banking from their app, or from a payment link you send that opens without a login. The receipt and the parent's confirmation go out on their own, and the fee is marked paid.
Can reminders go on WhatsApp and SMS?
Yes, from your centre's own number. Connect your WhatsApp Business account (with one approved message template) or your Fast2SMS or Textlocal account, and reminders, payment links and receipts go out under your centre's name. Those messages are not limited by your plan; you pay your provider directly. Email is included with every plan.
Can a student be in more than one batch?
Yes. A student can be enrolled in as many subject batches as they take, each with its own fee arrangement.
Can I run more than one branch?
Yes. Branch support scales with your students at 1 branch per 100 students (e.g. 1 on Starter, 3 on Growth, 10 on Professional, and 30 on Enterprise). You can see students, batches and fee income branch by branch.
Where does AI come in?
Students get the Acadiom AI Doubt Resolver to work through challenging concepts step-by-step, summarise chapters, and practice flashcards within centre-controlled daily limits. Staff get an in-app operational assistant for step-by-step guidance. Acadiom also flags students at risk of falling behind and automatically follows up overdue fee payments.
Does Acadiom support teacher payroll and session rates?
Yes. You can configure per-hour, per-session, or fixed monthly payout rates for your faculty. When teachers mark attendance or conduct batch classes, Acadiom computes teacher payout totals alongside student fee income, showing you real-time Batch P&L margins without messy spreadsheets.
Can I issue verifiable certificates to students?
