Supported Payment Gateways

Acadiom Tutor integrates directly with premier payment processors at /tutor/settings/payment-gateway:

Razorpay: Instant UPI, Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, net banking, and debit/credit cards for India.
Stripe: Global credit/debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and SEPA/iDEAL for international tuition centres.

Razorpay Setup (India & UPI)

To connect your Razorpay merchant account:

Sign in to your Razorpay Dashboard.
Navigate to Settings → API Keys and generate a Key ID & Key Secret.
In Acadiom Tutor, go to /tutor/settings/payment-gateway.
Paste your Key ID, Key Secret, and save.

Parents opening their portal (/parent/login) will now see the Pay via UPI / Card button on pending instalments.

Stripe Setup (International)

For centres in the US, UK, Europe, Australia, or the Gulf operating in USD, GBP, EUR, or AED:

Copy your Publishable Key and Secret Key from the Stripe Developer Dashboard.
Paste credentials into Acadiom Tutor payment gateway settings (/tutor/settings/payment-gateway).
Enable Stripe Webhooks to listen for payment_intent.succeeded events.

Instant Payment Links (No Login Required)

To minimise friction for busy guardians, Acadiom Tutor generates cryptographically signed payment links:

Short enough for a single SMS or WhatsApp reminder message.
Opens directly to a secure payment summary with UPI QR, cards, and net banking without requiring a portal password or login.
Once paid, the receipt and WhatsApp/SMS confirmation dispatch immediately, and the instalment updates automatically across the centre.
0% platform cut: funds settle directly into your own Razorpay or Stripe merchant bank account.

Automated Instant Reconciliation

When a parent completes a payment through a secure gateway:

The gateway notifies Acadiom Tutor via a signed webhook.
The corresponding fee instalment is immediately marked Paid.
A numbered receipt PDF is generated and emailed to the parent instantly.
No manual bank statement cross-checking required by your accounts team.

Cash & Manual Payment Fallback

For parents who prefer paying in cash or cheque at the front desk, reception staff can always manually record offline payments at /tutor/fees/create, ensuring your financial books remain 100% unified.
