Timetable Scheduling & Slot Management

Design conflict-free weekly schedules, manage classroom room allocations, prevent faculty double-booking, and publish real-time timetables to student phones.

Weekly Timetable Grid

Manage class schedules at /tutor/batches-timetable (or by batch at /tutor/batches/{id}/timetable). The interactive weekly matrix displays days of the week against standard coaching time periods (e.g. 04:00 PM – 05:30 PM, 05:45 PM – 07:15 PM).

Adding Class Slots

To add a class, click on any empty cell in the grid:

• Subject: Select the course topic (e.g. Organic Chemistry, Calculus, Mechanics).
• Faculty Member: Select the instructor.
• Room / Lab: Assign the physical classroom location.
• Recurrence: Repeat weekly on selected days (e.g. Mon / Wed / Fri).

Conflict Detection Engine

Double-booking teachers or classrooms causes chaos on institute premises. Acadiom Tutor performs automated validation before saving:

• Teacher Collision Alert: If Professor Sharma is already scheduled for Batch B in Room 102 at 05:00 PM, Tutor rejects overlapping assignments and highlights the conflict.
• Room Capacity Warning: If a batch of 35 students is scheduled into Room 204 with only 25 desks, Tutor displays a red capacity alert.

Student & Parent Timetables

Any changes made by the administrator reflect in real time on the Student Portal (/tutor/student/timetable) and Parent Portal (/tutor/parent/timetable). If a class is rescheduled or cancelled, push notices and notifications ensure families never arrive at an empty classroom.
